Job summary

Day & Zimmermann Maintenance and Construction (DZMC) in the United States is seeking a Cost Analyst I to join our Projects teams on greenfield construction projects. This entry-level role performs basic cost, labor, quantity, and earned value data entry and reporting under close supervision.

You will build foundational knowledge of project controls, support cost tracking and forecasting, and assist with documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, finance, accounting, or related field (or in progress) is required
• 0-3 years of relevant experience, 4 years if no degree

Responsibilities

• Cost data entry and validation of labor, cost, and earned value data.
• Assemble internal and external reports and run standard reports.
• Open/close codes of accounts and classify costs in costing software.
• Assist with progress entry and basic earned value reporting.
• Support change order documentation, data entry, and forecasting data.
• Learn project controls systems and support financial interfaces.
