Job summary

MITRE seeks an intermediate cost analyst to support multiple projects across cost, economic, and financial analyses for government sponsors. You’ll work in a multi-disciplinary team to scope tasks, collect large datasets, perform data-driven analyses, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience, or advanced degree with relevant experience.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Government security clearance.
• On-site work a minimum of 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop models and perform qualitative and quantitative analyses of investments, risk mitigation, and government actions.
• Collect and analyze financial, cost, and economic data.
• Develop and evaluate program baselines and cost estimates.
• Create innovative cost estimating techniques for a broad range of elements.
• Produce life cycle cost estimates and associated risk analyses.
• Support source selection with Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs).
• Perform cost-related studies and analyses, including rate reasonableness.
