Job summary

IMMI, a growing manufacturing company, seeks a Cost Accounting Supervisor to join our corporate headquarters in Westfield, Indiana. Founded in 1961, IMMI recently became an ESOP giving team members the opportunity to become owners and share in the company’s future success.

This role will lead cost and inventory analysis, ensure US GAAP compliance across multiple plants and currencies, and develop a strong cost team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 7+ years of manufacturing cost accounting experience with variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills are required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a root-cause mindset.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and communicate with varied stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, WIP, intercompany, and U.S. GAAP.
• Comfort operating in a dynamic environment prioritizing multiple projects and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost governance and accountability including costing, transfers, and inventory transactions.
• Manage global standard cost updates and intercompany budgets.
• Lead standard labor and overhead rate calculations and approvals.
• Review and approve material costs and budgets.
• Drive variance analysis, root-cause investigations, and corrective actions to achieve measurable improvements.
• Oversee inventory integrity, counts, adjustments, and related month-end close tasks.
• Coordinate responses to external audits related to inventory and COGS.
