Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager for its Electrical Products division in the United States. You will own all cost accounting processes, including standard costs, month-end close, variances, and annual cost roll, collaborating with operations, engineering, and corporate finance to drive financial clarity and control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; MBA or Master’s a plus.
• CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
• 5+ years of manufacturing cost accounting experience across multi-product lines is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP, OneStream, and MS Excel required; familiarity with US GAAP and SOX is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standard costs (BOMs, routings, labor, overhead) and ensure accuracy.
• Lead annual standard cost roll in SAP and align with operational changes.
• Manage month-end close, journal entries, inventory valuation, and cost variance analysis.
• Partner with operations to analyze production costs, identify cost drivers, and drive improvements.
• Support budgets, forecasts, and pro forma reporting for plant operations.
• Oversee physical inventory, cycle counts, and E&O inventory reviews.
• Ensure internal control compliance (SOX) and present findings to leadership.
