Job summary

True Anomaly seeks a Cost Accounting Manager to own nonlabor program costs and inventory accounting, working at the intersection of Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain. Build scalable cost processes, ensure accuracy, and drive improvements with strong autonomy.

You will partner with stakeholders, manage budgets, and support audits while maintaining GAAP compliance and cross-functional collaboration. Hybrid onsite work near Denver or Long Beach is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance with 5–11 years of relevant experience.
• CPA or CMA a plus and knowledge of GAAP and project-based cost structures.
• Experience owning inventory accounting and cross-functional collaboration with supply chain and operations.
• Experience with government contracts, FAR/CAS, and DCAA compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own all nonlabor program costs across systems, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Partner with business and finance teams to track, validate, and report program costs.
• Perform cost variance analysis and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain budgets, EACs, and cost forecasts.
• Own inventory accounting end-to-end with proper controls and reconciliation.
• Ensure GAAP and company policy for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
