This growth-oriented role requires 5+ years in manufacturing accounting, strong P&L, budgeting, and forecasting skills, and close collaboration with plant operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing accounting/finance experience.
• Strong cost accounting, inventory, and standard costing.
• Experience working with plant/manufacturing operations.
• Strong P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills.
• Manufacturing ERP experience.
• CPA and/or MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and refine standard costing, cost accounting, and inventory accounting.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, variances, and plant performance.
• Prepare P&L reporting, forecasts, budgets, and financial analysis.
• Partner with Plant and Operations leadership to improve profitability and working capital.
• Analyze CapEx, cash flow, pricing, and operating performance.
• Support month-end, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Maintain strong internal controls and support SOX compliance.
• Identify cost savings, risks, and opportunities to improve plant performance.

CV Resources has partnered with an outstanding firm seeking an experienced manufacturing cost accounting professional to join the finance leadership team of a large, established aerospace manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and refine standard costing, cost accounting, and inventory accounting
• Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, variances, and plant performance
• Prepare P&L reporting, forecasts, budgets, and financial analysis
• Partner with Plant and Operations leadership to improve profitability and working capital
• Analyze CapEx, cash flow, pricing, and operating performance
• Support month-end, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Maintain strong internal controls and support SOX compliance
• Identify cost savings, risks, and opportunities to improve plant performance

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing accounting/finance experience
• Strong cost accounting, inventory, and standard costing experience
• Experience working closely with plant/manufacturing operations
• Strong P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills
• Manufacturing ERP experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA and/or MBA is a plus
