Job summary

CV Resources, in partnership with a global manufacturer, seeks an Assistant Plant Controller to manage cost accounting, standard costing, and manufacturing financial analysis in a complex plant environment.

You will support Plant Controller across Centrix Aerospace and Fatigue Technology, prepare consolidated financials, and drive EBIT improvements with robust internal controls and forecasting. MBA/CPA is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive financial management/accounting experience.
• Strong manufacturing accounting experience.
• Significant cost accounting and inventory experience.
• Strong knowledge of standard costing and maintaining the integrity of a standard cost system.
• Experience with P&L reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Understanding of GAAP and SOX/internal controls.
• ERP experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience analyzing working capital, cash flow, capital expenditures, and operating performance.
• Strong leadership presence and ability to partner with Plant/Operations leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support the Plant Controller across Centrix Aerospace and Fatigue Technology.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L consolidations and financial reporting.
• Own and refine standard costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing financial analysis.
• Partner with the GM, Plant Controller, and leadership team to improve EBIT and operating working capital.
• Develop forecasts and financial plans covering sales, profit, CapEx, standard costs, cash flow, and balance sheet.
• Analyze major transactions and capital expenditure proposals.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improved plant performance.
• Strengthen the internal control environment and maintain SOX 404 compliance.
• Support pricing/quote analysis and corporate profitability objectives.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
