BI Incorporated in Boulder, CO, is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional for our onsite General Ledger role. You will manage month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations while helping with budgeting and audits.

The role requires 3–5 years manufacturing accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of GAAP. Onsite work with a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3–5 years of general accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Knowledge of GAAP and standard cost structures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and integrated accounting systems.
• Ability to use department software and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs month-end close activities, journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assists with annual budget process and monthly variances.
• Assists with fiscal year-end audit.
• Processes cost transactions and analyzes COGS for management.
• Analyzes sales deals and reserves for warranty/obsolescence.
• Analyzes monthly manufacturing period cost entries and variances.
• Reviews inventory balances and conducts cycle-count audits.
• Posts direct labor hours by work order into Syteline.
• Establishes and reviews standard costs.
• Records entries related to sales type leases.
• Performs internal audits of customer billings and related duties.
