Job summary

Aptiv Interconnect in Dayville, CT is seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to plan, study, and collect data to determine costs across material, labor, and inventory. You will analyze cost data, prepare budget reports, and support decision making to improve cost efficiency and profitability.

You will collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, and Finance, investigate cost drivers, manage variances, and ensure financial alignment with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of progressive cost accounting experience.
• Manufacturing environment with GAAP costing and inventory valuation.
• U.S. Person per regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, collect cost data, and analyze raw material, labor, and inventory costs.
• Investigate cost discrepancies and improve tracking of manufacturing costs.
• Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, and Finance.
• Prepare and distribute budget and cost reports for leadership.
