Job summary

Revelyst Outdoor in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Cost Accountant to drive financial transparency and efficiency across all brands. You will analyze cost structures, support strategic decisions, and ensure accurate reporting, reporting to the Cost Accounting Manager in our Carlsbad office.

Responsibilities include maintaining standard costing, analyzing variances, and collaborating with manufacturing, sourcing, and FP&A on budgets and product costs. This role requires on-site work in Carlsbad, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• 2+ years of progressive cost accounting experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and standard costing.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Netsuite.

Responsibilities

• Support cost accounting for all group companies to ensure inventory costing accuracy.
• Assist in maintaining standard costing models and allocations.
• Provide timely reporting of manufacturing performance and variances.
• Offer insights into product cost trends and impact on operating results.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, sourcing and FP&A on standard costs.
