Sekisui House U.S., Inc. is seeking a qualified Cost Accountant to join our team to create, manage, and maintain job budgets for homes in inventory.

This role performs cost variance analysis and supports cost management throughout the life cycle of each home. You will collaborate with accounting, operations, and finance to ensure accurate costing and reporting, assist with month-end close, and support audits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years cost accounting or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Experience with cost analysis and inventory accounting.
• Ability to guide others within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain cost accounting records, schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs to identify variances and trends.
• Support inventory valuation and cost allocation processes.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Investigate variances and discrepancies with internal partners.
• Ensure cost data accuracy and compliance with policies.
