Job summary

KerberRose is seeking a Cost Accountant to join its manufacturing finance team. This early-career position offers hands-on experience in cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing cost analysis within a growing environment.

Responsibilities include month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and cost analysis projects to support leadership and operations. A degree in accounting/finance and 1–3 years of relevant experience are desired.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1–3 years of accounting, cost accounting, financial analysis, or manufacturing accounting experience.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• ERP system experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update standard costs, bills of materials (BOMs), and routings

• Partner with Operations, Production, and Purchasing to ensure accurate product costing
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis projects
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting policies
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting
