Job summary

Francis Tuttle Technology Center is seeking a Cosmetology/Esthetics Substitute Instructor to supervise classrooms and the student salon. You will ensure client safety, service quality, and a positive learning experience in the absence of the instructor.

The role requires an Oklahoma Master Instructor license in the relevant area, a high school diploma, and strong communication and instructional skills. This is an on-site substitute position with variable hours.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold a current Oklahoma Master Instructor license in Cosmetology or Esthetics as required by the Oklahoma State Board.
• Excellent lecture and demonstrative skills.
• Strong ability to reason, instruct and supervise students.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on guidance and technical assistance to students in Cosmetology/Esthetics.
• Supervise students during client services to ensure safety and quality.
• Reinforce proper techniques, sanitation, safety, and professional standards.
• Assist students with consultations, service prep, procedures, and client care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional learning environment.
