Francis Tuttle Technology Center is seeking a Cosmetology/Esthetics Substitute Instructor to supervise classrooms and the student salon. You will ensure client safety, service quality, and a positive learning experience in the absence of the instructor.
The role requires an Oklahoma Master Instructor license in the relevant area, a high school diploma, and strong communication and instructional skills. This is an on-site substitute position with variable hours.

Reports Directly To: Instructional Director
Position Closing Date: Open until filled
Hourly Wage: $40/hr
Primary Function of Position: Responsible for providing classroom and salon supervision to students in the Cosmetology/Esthetics program. Effectively manages classroom and salon operations in the absence of the instructor.

Common Essential Job Functions:
Performs other duties as assigned by the campus director in accordance with school/state policies and practices.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working Conditions: Frequent walking and standing. Occasional sitting and stooping. Environment may be a salon environment and/or a classroom environment. Ability to lift 10-25 lbs. Concentrated visual effort is required. Extensive communication with internal customers. Reliable, dependable and punctual attendance. Organizational Relationship: Substitute non-certified, instructional personnel position reports directly to the Instructional Director.
Contract Details: Substitute is non-contract, not full-time permanent or regular part-time employment. Substitute is on an as needed basis.
