Job summary

McKnight Place Assisted Living & Memory Care is seeking a part-time Beautician to provide professional salon services in a warm, caring environment on the Gatesworth Communities campus in St. Louis.

You will consult with residents to understand their preferences, schedule appointments, maintain accurate service records, and keep the salon clean and sanitary in compliance with state licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Missouri Cosmetology license is required.
• Experience in healthcare, senior living, or assisted living preferred.
• Ability to follow state health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair services including shampooing, cutting, styling, blow drying, and basic chemical services, as permitted.
• Consult with residents to understand their preferences and provide personalized salon services.
• Schedule appointments and maintain accurate service records as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary salon in accordance with State licensing and infection prevention standards.
• Ensure all salon equipment and supplies are properly maintained and sanitized.
• Stay current on State Cosmetology regulations and best practices.
