Job summary

McKnight Place Assisted Living & Memory Care in St. Louis is hiring a part-time Beautician to provide professional salon services in a warm, caring environment for residents.

You will consult with residents, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate service records while following state health and safety regulations to ensure the highest standard of care and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• A valid Missouri Cosmetology License is required.
• Prior experience in healthcare, senior living, or an assisted living facility is preferred.
• Ability to follow State health and safety/hygiene standards.

Responsibilities Overview:

As a Beautician, you’ll provide professional salon services in a warm, welcoming environment while building lasting relationships with residents. You’ll help enhance each resident’s confidence and quality of life by delivering personalized services with compassion, dignity, and exceptional customer care.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide professional hair services including shampooing, cutting, styling, blow drying, and basic chemical services, as permitted.
• Consult with residents to understand their preferences and provide personalized salon services.
• Schedule appointments and maintain accurate service records as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary salon in accordance with State licensing and infection prevention standards.
• Ensure all salon equipment and supplies are properly maintained and sanitized.
• Stay current on State Cosmetology regulations and best practices.
