Job summary

Grand Island Casino Resort is seeking a licensed cosmetologist to provide scalp and facial treatments, manicures, and pedicures to guests. You will consult with guests, offer post-treatment care guidance, and educate guests on products and home regimens.

Maintain strict cleanliness, manage spa inventory, and support phone sales and service scheduling. You will work with colleagues across departments, demonstrate professionalism, and comply with all internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid gaming license in accordance with the Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission.
• Must maintain an active Nebraska state certification in good standing.
• Must complete all company-required training within designated time frames.
• Must not directly or indirectly compete with the business during period of employment.

Responsibilities

Job description

The licensed Cosmetologist is responsible for performing professional services of scalp and facial treatments, manicures, and pedicures.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for successful facial treatments, manicures, and pedicures to meet the expectations of each guest.
• Perform guest consultation and post treatment recommendations with the ability to educate guests on products and home regimens.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Conduct inventory and maintain and organize an appropriate par level of supplies.
• Responsible for assisting with phone sales, facility tours, service scheduling, and other Spa duties as necessary.
• Must demonstrate excellent time management skills and a fun, energetic, courteous, and professional demeanor.
• Assure an environment which emphasizes cooperation, communication, and teamwork with all departments.
• Support compliance with all internal procedures and regulatory requirements, including those associated with underage and intoxicated guests.
• Support current law and policy to provide a work environment free from illegal and discriminatory behavior.
• Complete job duties with minimal supervision, maintain acceptable attendance, and use appropriate judgment.
• Job duties, tasks, work hours, work requirements, and other duties as assigned may be added or changed at any time.
