Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking a Scientific Communications Senior Scientist to translate complex formulation and ingredient performance into clear science storytelling.

You will develop claim language, articulate differentiation, and create visuals that connect consumer experiences to scientific mechanisms. Collaborating with Makeup R&I, Brand Product Development, and Marketing, you will uncover scientific drivers behind texture, wear, film formation, pigment dispersion, and polymer

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field; advanced degree preferred.
3–5 years of professional experience; cross-functional project experience preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to simplify complex content.

Responsibilities

Translate formulation science into clear, benefit-driven messaging for claims and storytelling.
Develop scientific narratives that support product education and marketing storytelling.
Distill complex, multi-factorial performance into simple, consumer-facing messages.
Partner with Makeup R&I, Brand Product Development, and Marketing to align scientific understanding across teams.
