Job summary

Intercos Group is seeking a Packaging Development Manager to lead the design, development, and execution of cosmetic packaging solutions from concept through production. You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure brand, functional, and manufacturing requirements are met while driving cost-effective, high-quality packaging.

You will manage timelines, review technical specifications, and resolve technical or production issues, mentoring the packaging team to foster innovation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years in packaging development, ideally within cosmetics, personal care, or consumer goods.
• Strong supplier management and negotiation experience.
• Proven experience managing packaging projects from concept to production.
• Knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging development projects from customer request through final production, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Review customer packaging requests for accuracy, feasibility, and completeness.
• Develop detailed project timelines with suppliers and internal teams.
• Oversee sampling requests, prototypes, and packaging elements from concept to production.
• Coordinate packaging elements (primary, secondary, tertiary) with supplier capabilities and production schedules.
