Clariant is seeking a Formulation Chemist for Cosmetics & Skin Care to join Lucas Meyer Cosmetics in New Providence, New Jersey. This role emphasizes hands-on laboratory formulation, development of skin care products, and collaboration with regional teams.

The position is full-time, onsite, with opportunities to advance formulation development across skin, sun care, hair care, and color cosmetics, plus a competitive salary, PTO, and annual bonus.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience developing cosmetic formulations, including skin care products.
• Strong knowledge of formulation principles, emulsions, gels and stability testing.
• Proven ability to document results and maintain formulation records.
• Ability to support multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Aufgaben

• Support development and customization of cosmetic formulations for skincare, hair care, sun care, and color cosmetics.
• Prepare laboratory batches and prototypes for development and customer projects.
• Evaluate raw materials, functionality, processing parameters, and product performance.
• Conduct formulation investigations, troubleshooting, and optimization with proper documentation.
• Initiate and monitor stability studies per procedures including data collection.
• Maintain accurate notebooks, data, and project documentation in designated systems.
