Job summary

L&R Distributors, Inc. is seeking a Field Merchandiser to service retail stores across Milton, VT and surrounding areas. The role is part-time to full-time and involves stocking, organizing, and displaying products, with support for store resets and planograms.

You will use a tablet/scanner to place orders, service routes, and maintain stock levels. There is potential to transition to full-time; mileage reimbursement and drive time are provided, with benefits when eligible.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience.
• Familiarity with resets, planograms and store footage is a plus.
• Retail sales and inventory control knowledge are a plus.
• Ability to safely use a ladder or step stool to access higher fixtures, signage, and products on elevated shelves.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for required inventory using a tablet and scanner.
• Service store routes according to call frequencies with the District Manager.
• Follow store visit process, merchandise delivery, and form completion.
• Implement planograms and resets to align with instructions.
• Ensure resets meet standards and timelines.
• Install and adjust shelving and fixtures as needed.
• Process returns following guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions, invoicing, and returns.
• Communicate with store staff during visits.
• Verify shipments with store personnel.
• Provide professional communication with store management.
• Keep display cases clean and organized.
• Conduct store surveys and store issue photography.
• Cover additional stores as needed.
