Job summary

Shiseido Americas is seeking a Compounder I to support the manufacturing of bulk cosmetic ingredients at our New Jersey facility. The role involves pre-weighing chemicals, processing batches, and maintaining quality standards while following GMP and safety guidelines.

You will weigh and mix materials, operate equipment across work centers, and diligently record batch data. Strong math, time management, and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of GMP and OSHA safety regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong math, time management and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use computers and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Pre-weighing all chemicals required in batches.
• Complete batches safely and in a timely manner with passing quality specs.
• Weigh, mix, and heat materials per procedure to meet customer requirements.
• Produce bulk using a multi-phase batch process.
• Record production data on batch records including materials, quantities and times.
• Identify equipment issues and report to management.
• Clean and sanitize equipment before or after manufacturing.
