Job summary

Shiseido Americas is seeking a Compounder I for the 2nd shift to support production of cosmetics and skincare ingredients. You will pre-weigh chemicals, mix batches, and operate equipment, ensuring quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in manufacturing, strong math and mechanical skills, and fluency in English. The role is on-site with comprehensive benefits and a focus on people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of GMP and OSHA safety regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong time management, math skills, and mechanical aptitude.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient with computers.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to use all required PPE.
• Reliable in completing assignments on time.
• Positive leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-weighing all chemicals required for batches.
• Complete batches safely and in a timely manner meeting quality specs.
• Weigh, mix, and heat materials per formula to meet customer requirements.
• Produce bulk using multi-phase batch processes.
• Record production data on batch records (materials, quantities, times).
• Identify and report equipment issues to management.
• Transfer materials to appropriate kettles/mixers.
• Clean and sanitize equipment before/after manufacturing.
• Operate equipment across all work centers.
• Perform tasks accurately and in compliance with safety standards.
