Job summary

States HR CO in Corona, CA, seeks a Cosmetic Manufacturing Compounder to weigh batches and produce products according to approved formulas, operating processing equipment under the supervision of the production manager.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 5+ years in cosmetics manufacturing, with emphasis on compounding, plus ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• 5+ years in cosmetics manufacturing, more than 5 years in compounding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Weigh ingredients as required following formulas using approved scales.
• Ensure all ingredients are weighed and placed into sanitized containers.
• Wash, sanitize, and set up equipment per cGMP procedures.
• Compound lotions, creams, shampoos, soaps, drinks per formula and procedures.
• Operate processing equipment (pumps, tanks, mixers) and draw samples for lab testing.
• Initial batch sheets and sign tank cards to verify formulas were followed.
• Identify incorrectly prepared batches and inform Supervisors.
• Fix incorrect batches by following formulas and solving with calculations.
