Job summary

New Radiance Cosmetic Centers in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, part of Advanced MedAesthetic Partners, is hiring a Surgical Scrub Technician / Surgical Technologist for flexible PRN per diem work with the plastic surgery team. Prior scrub tech experience in cosmetic surgery is preferred.

Strong sterile technique and patient safety are essential. You will prepare instruments, maintain sterile fields, assist surgeons, and help with counts and instrument handling in a fast-paced elective cosmetic

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ year as Surgical Scrub Technician / Surgical Technologist in a surgical setting.
• Experience in plastic/cosmetic/outpatient surgery preferred.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique, sterile field maintenance, surgical instrumentation and sterilization.
• Certification or completion of a surgical technologist program.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up surgical instruments, supplies, sterile solutions, and equipment before procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout procedures.
• Assist surgeons and surgical team by passing instruments, supplies, sponges, needles, and sharps.
• Perform and document accurate surgical counts.
• Support patient preparation before surgery.
• Clean, sterilize, package, and organize instruments after procedures.
• Follow aseptic technique, safety protocols, and infection-control standards.
• Collaborate with surgeons and clinical staff in a fast-paced setting.
