Job summary

Palm Beach International Surgery Center - Paley Institute is seeking a Surgical Technologist Scrub Tech, PRN, to join the surgical team in West Palm Beach. The role requires scrubbing for procedures, maintaining sterile fields, and supporting staff and physicians in orthopedics, podiatry and pain management settings.

Qualifications include a relevant Surgical Technician program, a high school diploma, and applicable state certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program
• Certification as required by state/center
• Ambulatory surgical center experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management
• Understanding of aseptic techniques
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions
• Teamwork and communication with staff and physicians

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains a sterile field
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures
• Supports quality improvement activities
• Collaborates with surgeons and the surgical team
