Job summary

Drainless Aesthetic Institute in Kennesaw, GA is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support throughout the patient journey, from pre-operative prep to post-operative care.

Work closely with providers and nurses to maintain patient flow, prepare rooms, document EHR data, and assist with education and inventory, within training and scope.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant training or comparable healthcare experience acceptable to the Company.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required at hire.
• Strong patient-service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocols carefully.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients while supporting a professional, welcoming patient experience.
• Obtain and document vital signs and other intake information; update records.
• Prepare consultation, examination, treatment, pre-operative, and post-operative areas.
• Support approved pre- and post-operative workflows under supervision.
• Take clinical photographs in accordance with procedures and authorization requirements.
• Prepare dressings, garments, equipment, supplies, and other patient-care materials.
• Clean and disinfect patient-care areas and maintain room readiness.
• Document accurately in the electronic health record.
• Assist nurses and providers with delegated tasks within training and scope.
