Job summary

Aesthetx is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide full-scope clinical support across non-surgical aesthetic services and plastic surgery. The role includes prepping patients for injectable treatments, assisting during procedures, and supporting surgical consultations in a high-acuity aesthetic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certificate/diploma preferred.
• 2+ years MA experience in plastic surgery/dermatology/medical spa environment preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong patient communication and empathy in clinical settings.
• Experience with EMR documentation (Nextech a plus).

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare for injectable appointments and treatments.
• Assist injectors during procedures and manage supplies.
• Prepare rooms for laser/energy-based treatments and ensure proper setup.
• Support surgical consultations with documentation and patient questions.
