Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Quality Control Technician for cosmetic hair and skin care products in Lithonia, GA. The role involves lab testing, in-process inspections, and maintaining quality records in a co-located lab and production setting.

Responsibilities include testing raw materials and finished products, supporting batch adjustments with R&D, and ensuring compliance with GMP on the production floor and lab. Must be able to stand 10 hours, lift up to 30 lbs, and work onsite.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of hands-on quality control or laboratory testing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience performing wet chemistry testing and documenting results.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities

• Perform QC testing on raw materials and finished products (pH, viscosity, specific gravity, solids, microbiology, fill weight).
• Conduct daily in-process and final product inspections and document results.
• Maintain batch records and assist with calibration schedules and retention samples.
