Voyant Beauty in Georgia seeks a Quality Lab Technician to support manufacturing by in-process and finished product testing, ensuring cGMP compliance and product integrity. You will collaborate with Manufacturing and Customer Service to uphold quality standards.

The role focuses on testing, COA/NCMR handling, documentation, and continuous improvement within a safety-conscious lab. A High School Diploma and 1–3 years in a related setting are preferred, with strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years in manufacturing or laboratory environment preferred.
• Experience with quality testing methods (pH, viscosity, odor/visual evaluation) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Test bulk and finished goods (pH, viscosity, odor, color, appearance) against specifications.
• Prepare dye solutions and provide formulation specifications for batch coloring.
• Evaluate samples and determine acceptability; issue NCMRs when required.
• Generate Certificates of Analysis (COA) for bulk products prior to shipment.
• Retest bulk products as needed and update status in AS400; communicate nonconformances to stakeholders.
• Write and manage NCMRs for non-conforming and expired raw materials.
• Maintain lab standards, retain samples, and ensure proper documentation.
• Enforce cGMP compliance and company policies in lab/manufacturing environment.
• Support additional duties and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.
• Maintain annual certification through required testing for odor and color panels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality and production goals.
• Assist in training team members and promoting a team-oriented environment.
