Job summary

kdc/one is seeking a Compounding Manager in Saddle Brook, NJ. You will lead the compounding department to ensure high-quality bulk products per manufacturing instructions and schedules.

The role requires 5–7 years in cosmetics manufacturing with supervisory experience, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Competitive benefits apply; on-site facility with multi-shift operations and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
• Min 5–7 years in manufacturing of personal/hair care products.
• Supervisory experience in a multi-shift environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day compounding dept. operations.
• Ensure resources meet customer demand and hire/terminate as needed.
• Lead and train compounders and pre-weighers on policies.
• Establish a multi-shift operation for efficiency.
• Suggest training guidelines to boost efficiency.
• Assign daily work and plan meetings with other depts.
• Follow procedures for precise measurements and mixing.
• Investigate out-of-spec batches and prevent rework.
• Recommend process improvements to engineering.
• Review and approve batch master records for accuracy.
• Maintain cGMP and SOP adherence in cosmetics.
• Ensure cleaning/sanitation of equipment and dept.
• Recommend capital expenditures to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate installation, validation, and removal of equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance/repairs as required.
• Maintain clean, sanitized work area.
• Prepare analytical reports on department productivity.
• Create/update SOPs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Prepare monthly KPI reports for management.
