Job summary

Car Keys Express in Louisville, KY is seeking an Auto Body Paint Technician to repair and paint automotive cosmetic damage. The role includes surface prep, color matching, and precise paint application using base coat/clear coat systems.

You will disassemble/reassemble parts as needed and ensure high quality finishes for customers. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of paint repair experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work 8-hour days in a fast-paced team environment with safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years automotive paint repair experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work a Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including masking and priming.
• Apply base coats and clear coats with professional spray equipment.
• Repair damaged panels, dent removal, and parts replacement as needed.
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicle components for repair and paint.
• Perform quality control and document work performed.
