Summit Truck Bodies, LLC in Kentucky is seeking a Collision Repair and Refinish Technician to prepare bodies and components for painting. You will sand, mask, apply bondo, and polish to achieve a high-quality finish while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with good MVR, and experience in paint or collision repair. Training and a strong work ethic are valued in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with good MVR.
• Experience in paint, collision repair or related field.
• Ability to read gauges, measurement tools and blueprints.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Able to pass post-offer background, physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work by studying work orders, BOMs and blueprints.
• Sand, mask and prep bodies and parts before paintwork.
• Apply bondo/sealant and finish/sand for final polish.
• Wet sand and polish custom-colored bodies and doors.
• Dispose of hazardous waste per federal and state laws.
• Follow PPE usage and safety and keep area clean.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and show initiative.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.
