Job summary

Luxoft Germany is seeking an experienced Snowflake Cortex AI Engineer to lead the development and deployment of AI and GenAI solutions on the Snowflake platform. You will design scalable architectures using Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, Cortex Agents, and AISQL functions to deliver actionable insights and enterprise-grade data models.

You will collaborate with stakeholders and data teams to deliver secure, governed AI solutions with strong governance, security, and cost optimization practices.

Qualifications

• Experience designing AI architectures with Snowflake Cortex.
• GenAI, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector embeddings and semantic search experience.
• Expertise in SQL and data modeling for governed analytics and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered analytics and business solutions using Snowflake Cortex capabilities.
• Develop and manage Semantic Models/Semantic Views for natural language querying and governance.
• Build and optimize Cortex Search for enterprise knowledge retrieval and document intelligence.
• Configure Cortex Agents for orchestration of data sources and applications.
• Implement AISQL functions for summarization, classification, extraction, sentiment, and content generation.
• Develop AI apps using Streamlit in Snowflake (SiS) and Python frameworks.
• Create scalable data pipelines, data models, and AI-ready datasets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into AI-driven solutions with measurable outcomes.
• Apply governance, RBAC, security, monitoring, and cost optimization best practices.
• Test, validate, and continuously improve AI models, agents, and apps.
