Job summary

DATAECONOMY is seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Architect to design and implement modern cloud data platforms with AI-powered analytics. The role emphasizes Snowflake architecture, data engineering, and Generative AI capabilities including Cortex AI Functions, Cortex Search, and Cortex Agents for secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Data Engineering/Data Architecture experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Snowflake implementation experience.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake Data Cloud, Snowpark, and SQL.
• Experience with Cortex AI and enterprise AI capabilities on Snowflake.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and RBAC within cloud data platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices in data projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of Snowflake Data Cloud solutions.
• Architect modern data warehouses, data lakes, and Lakehouse solutions.
• Design scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowpark, SQL, Python, and dbt.
• Build AI-powered data products using Snowflake Cortex AI.
• Develop RAG solutions using Cortex Search and vector embeddings.
• Implement Semantic Search and enterprise knowledge retrieval.
• Design and deploy Cortex Agents and multi-agent AI workflows.
• Develop AI-powered data applications using Cortex AI Functions.
• Design secure AI architectures with RBAC and governance.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, storage, clustering, and cost.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data/AI solutions.
• Mentor engineering teams and establish architecture best practices.
