McKinley Paper and Packaging Company, Lancaster TX, seeks an Experienced Corrugator Supervisor for second shift to lead production, emphasize safety, and uphold quality initiatives. The role coaches, trains, and develops a skilled team in safety, quality, production, problem solving, and process knowledge of corrugation.

The incumbent will coordinate with other supervisors, Production Management, and Customer Service to meet on-time goals.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years progressively responsible experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Knowledge of Corrugator and corrugating processes, including paper, starch, and heat relevant to producing corrugated sheets.
• Communication skills, both verbal and written, with hourly personnel and managers.
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing customer requirements and manufacturing challenges.
• Corrugator knowledge, Kiwi software and Fosber equipment knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Achieve quality initiatives by leading processes to ensure lowest cost and best quality.
• Minimizing waste within the department by driving awareness, training, and accountability.
• Drive maximum throughput within the department by increasing up-times and machine speeds.

• Accuracy in the reporting of production documentation and data entry.

McKinley Paper and Packaging Company, an international Paper and Corrugated Container manufacturer is currently seeking an Experienced Corrugator Supervisor for second shift for our facility in Lancaster TX.

Primary responsibilities are leadership on the production floor and excellence in demonstrating a commitment to McKinley Packaging safety and quality initiatives. The shift supervisor is responsible for coaching, training, and developing their team in safety, quality, production, problem solving, and the technical skills involved in the operation of the corrugator. The supervisor interacts with other department supervisors, the Production Management team, and Customer Service to ensure quality, on-time production goals are met.
