Job summary

WestRock Company in the Atlanta area is seeking a Stacker Operator for the 3rd shift to safely operate stacker equipment and assist with equipment setup. You will help ensure product quality and production efficiency in a fast-paced corrugator environment.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and willing to work overtime to support a 3rd shift operation. This role offers opportunities for growth within a global packaging company.

Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret basic instructions, safety procedures, and machine manuals.
Proficiency in basic math and reading a tape measure.
Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
Understanding and following safety practices in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

Operate stacker equipment and assist other operators across multiple machines.
Assist with equipment setup and changeovers (dies, attachments, printing plates, etc.).
Follow Factory Orders and production specifications.
Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections (color, viscosity, dimensions).
Take corrective action or escalate issues to meet customer quality requirements.
