Job summary

Pratt is seeking a Stacker Operator in Cedar Hill, TX to manage stacking sheets from the corrugator, including setup, operation, cleanup, and ongoing improvements to the process.

You will relay adjustments, assist the corrugator crew, and back up other operators as needed while maintaining production schedules and safety standards. Training of dry end personnel will be part of the role, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Reads and follows factory masters instructions.
• Meets safety standards and housekeeping requirements.
• Operates corrugator-related equipment with basic maintenance.
• Trains on and supports line coworkers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Relay messages promptly for adjustments.
• Assist Corrugator crew as assigned by supervisor.
• Submit maintenance work orders and participate in equipment upkeep.
• Adhere to production schedule and improve line efficiency.
• Suggest schedule improvements to meet cost, quality and service goals.
• Identify and report scheduling issues to Supervisor.
• Back up Slitter Operator and Doublebacker when required.
• Handle protective sheets and verify unit counts.
• Operate corrugator conveyor lines and unitizer.
• Read corrugator lineups and restack as needed.
• Participate in training of dry end personnel.
• Follow all safety and housekeeping policies.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
