Job summary

Pratt is seeking a full-time Corrugator Operator to manage stacking sheets from the corrugator, including setup, operation, cleanup, and ongoing improvements. The role requires coordinating with the crew, following the production schedule, and supporting maintenance efforts.

Preferred candidates have 6 months of corrugator experience and the ability to read lineups, back up related operators, and help train others while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
• 6 months’ experience in the corrugator.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all activities associated with stacking sheets from the corrugator including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations.
• Relay messages to proper personnel promptly regarding necessary adjustments.
• Assist Corrugator crew as assigned by supervisor.
• Turn in maintenance work orders for needed repairs and be proactive in equipment maintenance.
• Adheres to production schedule and helps optimize it to meet cost, quality and service goals.
• Learn to back up Slitter Operator and Doublebacker when necessary.
• Operate corrugator conveyor lines and unitizer; read corrugator lineups.
• Restack, flip stack, and handband units; train dry end personnel.
