Job summary

The Kraft Group & Affiliates in Massachusetts is seeking a Corrugator Manager to lead a high‑speed corrugator on a single shift, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality production to meet daily objectives.

You will oversee personnel, equipment, materials, and workflow, drive continuous improvement, and uphold safety, quality, and regulatory standards. A Bachelor's degree and 6+ years in corrugated manufacturing with leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• 6+ years of corrugated manufacturing experience with 2–4 years in leadership.
• Knowledge of corrugator operations and high-speed manufacturing equipment.
• Experience leading safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar CI experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Attention to detail and focused concentration.
• Ability to learn new tasks and work independently.
• Make timely decisions in the workflow.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations to achieve safety, quality, productivity, waste, and downtime objectives.
• Direct daily corrugator production activities to meet schedules and customer requirements.
• Monitor equipment performance and partner with maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Supervise, coach, develop, and evaluate shift employees with accountability.
• Ensure staffing, training, and cross-training support safe and efficient operations.
• Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Enforce safety policies, environmental requirements, and quality standards.
• Ensure accurate production reporting, inventory transactions, and shift docs.
• Coordinate shift handoffs and communicate issues to plant leadership.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives including lean manufacturing.
• Maintain readiness for customer and regulatory audits.
• Special projects and assignments as business dictates.

This role is responsible for coordinating personnel, equipment, materials, and workflow to maximize productivity, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The Corrugator Manager promotes a culture of accountability, employee development, and operational excellence while maintaining compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Lead all shift operations to achieve safety, quality, productivity, waste, and downtime performance objectives.


• Direct and coordinate daily corrugator production activities to meet production schedules and customer requirements.


• Monitor equipment performance and partner with maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.


• Supervise, coach, develop, and evaluate shift employees while fostering accountability and engagement.


• Ensure staffing, training, and cross‑training support safe and efficient operations.


• Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions to improve performance.


• Enforce company safety policies, environmental requirements, and quality standards.


• Ensure accurate production reporting, inventory transactions, and shift documentation.


• Coordinate shift handoffs and communicate operational issues to plant leadership.


• Support continuous improvement initiatives including lean manufacturing and waste reduction.

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.


• 6+ years of corrugated manufacturing experience, including 2–4 years of leadership experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.


• Demonstrated knowledge of corrugator operations and high‑speed manufacturing equipment.


• Experience leading safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.


• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement experience preferred.


• Strong troubleshooting, decision‑making, and communication skills.


• Ability to work in a fast‑paced 24/7 manufacturing environment.


• Must have attention to detail and focused concentration.


• Must be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently.


• Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow.


• Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi‑task and responsiveness.
