Job summary

Kraft Group LLC seeks a dependable Machine Operator to set knife and score heads, feed sheets, stack finished sheets, and verify order accuracy in a fast-paced plant setting.

Responsibilities include safety checks, measuring corrugated stock, ensuring quality, and maintaining equipment. HS diploma required; blueprints reading is a plus.

Qualifications

• Machine operator experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints – a plus.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16".

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, prepare for shift operations including status update on work left over from previous shift
• Complete safety check of equipment
• Take corrugated at the start of each new order and measure it for accuracy against the layout.
• Periodically check the board as it is being run to make sure it continues to meet specifications and plant standards. Assist Corrugator crew and other employees as needed.
• During shift and at end of shift, clean and/or secure all equipment and machinery, and complete all required paperwork.
• Perform other work as required, inspect and maintain quality of product using a hand truck to organize work area and/or move materials
• Meet all company safety policies, and report any concerns related to required maintenance of machines; meet all quality and efficiency standards
• Special project and assignments as business dictates
• Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, prepare for shift operations including status update on work left over from previous shift
2. Complete safety check of equipment
3. Take corrugated at the start of each new order and measure it for accuracy against the layout.
4. Periodically check the board as it is being run to make sure it continues to meet specifications and plant standards. Assist Corrugator crew and other employees as needed.
5. During shift and at end of shift, clean and/or secure all equipment and machinery, and complete all required paperwork.
6. Perform other work as required, inspect and maintain quality of product using a hand truck to organize work area and/or move materials
