Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is hiring Production Associates at our Corrugated facility in Augusta, GA. This role supports safe, efficient production on multiple shifts including overtime as needed.

You will operate equipment to spec, monitor control systems, perform basic maintenance, and work with teammates to meet safety, quality, and production goals. First week orientation will start on 1st shift, with assignment during orientation.

Qualifications

• One year or more of continuity in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Completion of post high school education in a manufacturing/industrial centered program.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
• Monitor and/or entry into computer control systems
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
• Perform basic asset care duties to include routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area
• Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals
