Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking a production operator to handle the operation and sanitation of a KHS wrap around and shrink packer and auxiliary equipment. You will manage multiple tasks, adjust machinery, pull production samples, test quality, and log bottle integrity tests.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 90 lbs, document information in English, follow GMP guidelines, and be flexible with shifts due to the manufacturing schedule.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with assembly line processes.
• Ability to keep up with rapid pace production.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 90 lbs.
• Ability to write and document information accurately and thoroughly in English.
• Some hand tool and mechanical proficiency.
• Forklift operations skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and sanitize the KHS wrap around and shrink packer and auxiliary equipment.
• Make adjustments to machinery and monitor production output.
• Pull production samples and conduct basic quality testing.
• Log PET bottle integrity tests and verify time/date/product codes.
