Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking a production operator to handle the operation and sanitation of a KHS wrap around and shrink packer and auxiliary equipment. You will manage multiple tasks, adjust machinery, pull production samples, test quality, and log bottle integrity tests.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 90 lbs, document information in English, follow GMP guidelines, and be flexible with shifts due to the manufacturing schedule.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

GENERAL JOB DUTIES

Individual will handle the operation and sanitation of a KHS wrap around and shrink packer and auxiliary equipment that includes conveyor operation and label coding equipment. Must be able to manage multiple tasks which include operation and adjustments of machinery, production sample pulls and testing, monitoring quality of product produced, logging PET bottle integrity tests, and verification of proper codes used for time, date, and product specification. Individual needs to be able to do repetitive lifting and agrees to follow Good Manufacturing Practices. Individual needs to be self-motivated, detail oriented, and willing to be flexible as to their schedule due to the nature of this type of manufacturing.
