Corrugated Boxing Machine Operator | South Charlotte, NC | 1st Shift | $16.00+ per hour DOE | Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm

Job Description

Supply & Box Manufacturing Company is seeking an experienced Machine Operator/Forklift Driver to join our expanding team in Charlotte. In this role, you'll operate and maintain manufacturing machines to produce high-quality corrugated packaging and operate a forklift to replenish and remove product as needed. This position is vital for maintaining production quality, efficiency, and safety on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate McKinley and Martin Flexo Folder Gluer machines
• Perform quality control checks on printed boxes for alignment, ink consistency, and structural integrity
• Complete production reports and checklists for each job run
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot machinery as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating Flexo Folder Gluer machines, preferably McKinley and Martin models
• Previous experience in the corrugated packaging industry is required
• Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot printing and equipment issues
• Ability to read and interpret production layouts and perform accurate measurements

Additional Job Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of corrugated machine operating experience
• Minimum of 2 years of propane forklift experience
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, climbing, and pulling of materials
• Must speak and read fluent English
