Position Details

Position Title:

Pay Rate: $21.16

Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time, 6am - 2pm Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Physical Location: Ashland City, TN 37015

Responsibilities

• Assist operators in preparing, maintaining, and operating corrugated manufacturing press machines (e.g., rotary die cutters, flexo folder gluers, labelers, and folder gluers).
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and determine necessary adjustments.
• Feed, catch, and stack corrugated sheets at machine feed and stacking stations.
• Perform order setups including setting heads, mounting print plates and dies, maintaining safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Ensure all orders meet specifications, including any special instructions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or shift leaders, which may include parts and hand assembly.
• Act as safety champion for your crew.

Required Skills and Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred; trade school or advanced degrees are a plus.

At least two years of manufacturing experience preferred, especially in corrugated manufacturing.

Problem-solving skills with minimal assistance.

Effective communication skills.

Basic computer skills and arithmetic ability.

Adherence to all safety and quality policies.

Ability to learn machine setup and operation processes.

Ability to interpret instructions in various formats.

Dependability and reliability are essential.

Ability to work in hot and cool environments, standing throughout shifts, with moderate to heavy lifting.
