Job summary

Yoh Services LLC is seeking a Materials Characterization Engineer to support a team of engineers in electrochemical testing of next generation materials and coatings in a fast-paced lab. The role focuses on hands-on execution of corrosion tests and maintaining calibrated lab equipment. Ideal candidates hold a B.S.

in Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field, with experience operating potentiostats and three-electrode cells. Experience in metallographic prep is a plus.

Qualifications

• Electrolyte preparation and chemical management per specification.
• Hands-on chemical testing following established procedures.
• Ability to calibrate and maintain electrochemical test equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrochemical corrosion tests on new materials and coatings.
• Maintain and calibrate electrochemical lab equipment and instrumentation.
• Prepare solutions, manage pH, deaeration, and waste handling per procedures.
