Job summary

ExxonMobil in Beaumont, TX is seeking a corrosion technician to maintain cathodic protection and corrosion control systems. You will perform atmospheric and insulation-related inspections, troubleshoot non-compliance issues and implement remediation projects.

Strong CP-1 credentials and 3–5 years of corrosion experience are required. Responsibilities include documentation, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with engineers.

Qualifications

• Must have CP-1 Certification.
• 3–5 years corrosion experience or degree equivalent.
• NACE CP-1 certification or greater.
• Good communication skills – verbal and written.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office and PCS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor cathodic protection systems and related documentation.
• Maintain and monitor internal corrosion control systems and documentation.
• Conduct atmospheric and corrosion under insulation inspections with documentation.
• Troubleshoot areas of non-compliance.
• Recommend remedial action based on troubleshooting; develop and execute projects.
• Maintain compliance with corrosion control regulations and Company requirements.
