Job summary

Intertek, a leading quality and safety solutions provider, seeks a Corrosion Manager to lead laboratory corrosion programs in Houston, TX. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, timely services while upholding safety, ethical, and environmental standards.

The ideal candidate has advanced degrees in chemical or petroleum engineering or chemistry, with experience in corrosion testing, data analysis, and project leadership.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or MS in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• Experience with experimental protocols and data QC.
• Knowledge of corrosion testing methods and inhibitors.

Responsibilities

• Design laboratory programs with deliverable timelines and manage project schedules.
• Understand Company's technical capabilities and coordinate with Project Managers and lab staff.
• Prepare technical reports and assist in training less-experienced staff.
• Maintain safety, quality, and ethics policies in all tasks.
