Job summary

Vision Point Systems, Inc. is seeking a talented engineering technician to support corrosion testing and lab operations onsite in Bethesda, MD and Olney, MD.

You will prepare specimens, collect quality evidence, assist with test apparatus construction, and help engineers with data collection while maintaining equipment and safety standards. The role requires a high school diploma and eligibility for DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• 2+ years of lab experience or equivalent.
• Willingness to work onsite in Bethesda, MD and Olney, MD.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare corrosion testing specimens and coating applications.
• Collect objective quality evidence (OQE) and verify specimen preparation.
• Assist with design and construction of test apparatus.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and calibrations.
• Assist engineers with test program execution and data collection.
• Assist Government personnel with laboratory upkeep.
